WORST LB CORE

We have the worst LB core in college. Corey Flagg gets killed all the time. He is either out of assignment or he can't read where to go he always takes bad angles and gets blocked easily. Keyontra Smith just can't cut it he is a better player than Flagg but it's time for this old group to go bring some new energy. They can't tackle worth a damn. Also James Williams needs to learn the technique of tackling all he has is aggression and a lot of time that has him doing stupid penalties or trying to tackle with a shoulder and missing the tackle.

This is about to be a long season but I know there is light at the end of this tunnel.

Is it the coaching? The players? Both?

I think Miami still has the right guy. Cristobal was brought in to change the program, not win a championship with a Manny Diaz roster in year one. You see the growth from a number of the players this staff has brought in. I think the talent evaluation has drastically improved under the new regime and the pieces (Highsmith, Radakovich) are in place for a bright future. The NIL game is still in Miami's favor and that will be huge in recruiting.

Patience and support will be needed going forward if this staff is going to have any chance. Once the full overturn happens, I fully expect this team to take the necessary steps forward

Week 9 High School Breakdown

Thursday Night: Homestead beat up on Miami Northwester, 44-28. Will have more on that later today. Palmetto took their fifth loss of the year against Norland 35-14. Sophomore QB Ennio Yapoor had over 300 yards of total offense and 4 touchdowns whil 2024 WR Isaiah Scott had over 160 yards and two scores himself.

Tonight, if you can, get out to that Columbus vs Central game at Traz Powell Stadium. It will be a game of future Hurricanes and one of the best games of the year. Check out the article for the other top games and breakdowns on who is playing!

AFA Violations

You know things have gotten totally out of control when a military academy is charged with recruiting violations. I don't understand how that is even possible. All applicants need to be nominated by a member of Congress. It's not like they can just offer money to lure top recruits. They operate off budgets that are aided by the U.S. Government. Their purpose is to develop quality Officers not win football games.

Miami offers 2026 ATH out of Virginia, teammate of '23 Safety Prospect

Miami offered 2026 ATH Markel Dabney out of Life Christian Academy. The freshman holds offers from Maryland, Virginia Tech, Duke, Coastal Carolina Ole Miss and Pitt.

Something to note is he is the teammate of Oklahoma commit safety Kaleb Spencer. Miami still has no safety commit in this class and Spencer is someone Miami has rumored to be in contact with.

Dabney is already 6' 210 and Spencer is 6'3" 205. I got a chance to see both players down here the first week of the season when they played Stranahan and both are Miami caliber prospects.

Young Hope At Wide Receiver

Why did it take this long for Colbie Young to get going? I identified his capabilities in fall camp. His tape doesn't lie. If Miami can get Jacolby George and Xavier Restrepo back. This can be a formidable group going forward. Injuries are part of the game but if Miami can get healthy in time for Florida State and Clemson. I like our chances.

Bain

If I had to guess right now I would guess Rueben Bain commits elsewhere but this will come down to the very end. Bain spoke highly of Alabama in a way that makes me feel he's heading to Tuscaloosa. He has a great relationship with Nick Saban and Mario Cristobal but the past success of the Tide I think sends Bain north. Of course many things can change from now until signing day, but Miami will have some convincing to do if they want have the home town hero stay home.

Where do you think Bain goes?

What are you hoping for against Virginia Tech?

This game definitely does not have the luster of years past. But here’s some bulletin board material for the Hurricanes.

This game is obviously a must win for various reasons, mostly for morale of the team and the fan base.

I’m hoping to see a dominant team. A disciplined team. An explosive team. A healthy team. Don’t think the fan base can take another loss right now.

This is a team Miami should beat, but so was Middle Tennessee.

What are you hoping for?

Local 2025 Wide Receiver Josh Moore Picks Up Miami Offer

Got a chance to check Moore out at practice yesterday. Great kid with legit 6'4" size. Has the frame to become a flex/athletic TE at the next level if he continues to grow. Was beaming when talking about the Miami offer and really enjoyed his game visit last week. Legit name to watch over the next couple of years

Jalen Brown - LSU’s Top Rated Stadium Atmosphere

Miami Gulliver Prep four-star wide receiver and LSU commit Jalen Brown had never been to a gameday in Baton Rouge, La., prior to this weekend.

Suffice to say, he walked away impressed.

“I went to a couple of college games over the last two years,” Brown told On3. “That stadium is just, I don’t know what it is, it’s just different. The fans’ just different. Everybody’s cheering the whole entire game.”

“The visit was great,” Brown said. “It’s always fun to go with my family, hang around and go watch the Tigers play in Tiger Stadium. That was my first game at Tiger Stadium. It didn’t turn out as planned but it was still a good game, good environment.”

The Broward Fans (for 15 years) have been saying once the U starts winning…they’ll fill up the HRS seats. BULL SHIT.

THE GOAT TEAM (2001 Canes) only averaged 46k Fans……(Lots of winning-Undefeated).

The Canes need a 50k seat Stadium near Campus. Oregon has the #2 rated stadium atmosphere in College Football in their 50k seat Stadium.

That’s all the Canes need. Mario knows.

Duke Basketball has the Best Atmosphere in all of sports in their tiny Cameron Arena.

A 50k seat Stadium fits the Canes Fanbase.

Please Good Lord…..no more thousands of empty Teal Seats 24 miles
from Campus. It’s killing the U Program.
15 years and counting.

For God’s Sake, The U doesn’t play Notre Dame for every Home Game.

All these ignorant County Commissioners and Broward/WPB Fans that don’t want a Football Stadium built at Tropical Park……..News Flash - There’s already a Football Stadium built at Tropical Park that takes up a lot of space.

The current Football Stadium at Tropical Park is old and is in bad shape.
It needs to be replaced. There’s no reason why the County and its Citizens should refuse to let a UM Grad Billionaire tear down the old Stadium and build a State of the Art 50k seat Stadium that would benefit the local (2.8 miles away) University and all of the County Residents.

Why say no to major improvements to the Park?

Why say no to a Stadium that UM would use for 7 games a year.

A new State of the Art Stadium with a Retractable Roof would benefit the County and its Residents far more than it would UM.

The Legendary Orange Bowl:
-building financed by Burdines Store
-operated by UM for 70 years of Home Games
-built on City of Miami Land

The OB had events, concerts, High School Games, etc that benefited all Dade County Residents.

The same could be done with a Retractable Roof 50k seat Stadium at Tropical Park on Park Land that’s already dedicated to a Stadium.
————————————————————

The U needs Receivers and the top 4 WRs in S/FL are headed to LSU, FSU, Gators and Ohio State.

The U will never be back to a Championship Level until they can once again play in a Championship Level Atmosphere Stadium (like the old OB) that attracts the top rated S/FL recruits.

The U will not be able to keep the needed Top S/FL recruits home until they get a Stadium that can match the atmospheres at LSU, FSU, the Swamp and the OSU Horseshoe.

HRS (not a top 100 College Stadium) is not the answer.

The HRS atmosphere doesn’t attract the (needed) top ranked recruits to win Championships.

The HRS just can’t compete with the Stadium Atmospheres of LSU, the Swamp, FSU, Ohio State, Bama, Georgia, Texas, etc. that are so attractive to the top rated recruits.

The sooner the people in S/FL realize that, the sooner we can build a Stadium that is FIT for the Canes so UM can start winning Championships again.

If the Canes want to be Champions again……….
The U needs to prioritize the wants and needs of Recruits……….
not the wants and needs of the Broward/WPB Fans.

Examples——

Former Head Coaches:
Jimmy Johnson and Howard Schnellenberger

Current Head Coach:
Mario Cristobal

Current Player:
Tyler Van Dyke

Former Player:
Alonzo Highsmith

Current Recruit:
Jalen Brown

All think Stadium Atmospheres
Matter.

Does anybody think the above named were ever impressed by the Atmosphere at Hard Rock Stadium?

Jimmy and Howard Coached inside HRS…….why would these 2 UM Legendary Coaches want the Canes out of HRS????

Jalen Brown grew up in S/FL. Why would he rather play in Tiger Stadium than HRS?

Tyler Van Dyke rather play anywhere’s else other than HRS………what more does UM need to hear to wake up and move the Fock out of HRS.

All these named UM Legends want a Miami Hurricanes OB 2.0 Stadium at Tropical Park.

All know that HRS is NOT RIGHT for the U.

Is there any current or former UM Player or Coach that doesn’t want their own Hurricanes OB 2.0 Stadium?
Does any want to stay in HRS?

Please tell me who…….

I’ve given Hundreds of examples of why the U needs to get back in a Home Stadium like the OB……….,and all I get in return is either be banned or have my messages being deleted by the Site Moderators who live in Broward County.

As long as the Broward / WPB HRS Lovers are allowed to hi-jack the U Program for selfish reasons……..The Canes will be stuck in mediocrity (just like the last 15 years at HRS).

It doesn’t matter how good the U Coaches are………they will always be handicapped by HRS.

It is also widely recognized that the homefield advantage that the Hurricanes enjoyed in the Orange Bowl was exponentially greater than in their newer home. This was in great part due to the atmosphere of the Orange Bowl.

The Hard Rock Stadium seats are set further back from the field than comparable seats at the Orange Bowl. As a result, even at its loudest, Hard Rock Stadium is nowhere near as loud as the Orange Bowl.
