Afghanistan what complete waste of time & money

Not to denigrate our troops nor the memory of those who perished but;
Within weeks of leaving Taliban has 2/3 of the country and moving towards Kabul.
TRILLIONS of dollars on a shyt country wasted
Lives of our troops thousands of our young people
What were we doing there? I thought we were training Afghans to protect themselves?
All to get the guy who masterminded 9/11 and we got him years ago
20 years in that dump.

Tragic!!!

Hopefully we have NO more wars.

Have to agree with you. If we spent another 20 years there, same outcome. Democracy is something you want not forced upon. These people folded the moment the US left.

NO doubt!!! 100 years there wouldnt change anything
