Lets face it. The media has us pinned to the ground. I have Parler which is so so. Facebook i delete tomorrow for another year or so. Twitter have account but rarely look at it.

Anyone have some good Conservative sites to share for true news and not bash everything trump news. Fox is the only news source we have and they go over the top at night sometimes but not even close to as ridiculous as CNN at night.

Sounds like every news site, everywhere. It's amazing what the "news" has turned into. If I could find one truly unbiased source for news I would tune in. But alas, I am stuck with the Canesport lounge where I get to, you guessed it, wade through the bs and figure out what's legit and what's spin.

It depends what degree of conservative you are. Some people are rational and actually want to discuss real conservative issues like fiscal, defense, or social issues related to conservatives. Most conservative social media are unfortunately not dedicated to decent discussions of the issues.

Here is my contribution to the thread.

The way the Lounge Right feels about MSNBC, CNN and to some degree Fox is the exact same way the Far Left feels about MSNBC, CNN and to some degree Fox.

Literally they scream that mainstream media is to far right. There are a number of shows on both CNN and MSNBC whose anchors are GOP, former Bush, former Reagan or former GOP operatives.

I feel like folks want an echo chamber. The far left doesn't have an OAN (they had Air America for 30 seconds) or a Sinclair, but they want one, they are just to scatterbrained (my opinion) to come together on one. But they do have multiple websites, podcasts and are big on Twitter (and I assume Facebook).

Just thought I'd point out that the Far Right and Far Left both think MSNBC, CNN and CNBC are to opposite of their beliefs.

As a centrist I marvel at this perception.

This site is my daily go to, I am very fiscally conservative however socially moderate. The thing I really enjoy about this site is that every issue has a link for a conservative/liberal take on a subject so you can get both sides. I personally have a very strong political belief so I do like to read many of the liberal takes as well for intellectual balance (even if I find 80-90% to be pure rubbish). Added bonus they also have affiliate sites that all start with realclear but focus on sports, science, history etc. really good for other information.

The thing I really enjoy about this site is that every issue has a link for a conservative/liberal take on a subject so you can get both sides. I personally have a very strong political belief so I do like to read many of the liberal takes as well for intellectual balance (even if I find 80-90% to be pure rubbish). Added bonus they also have affiliate sites that all start with realclear but focus on sports, science, history etc. really good for other information.

They aren't going to want that anymore than a Bernie supporter would. Its like the folks who believe the Daily Caller is accurate or the folks who run to Vox.

Any given article can be good or bad, take Matt Taiibi, he is very left leaning, but he is adamantly pro 1st amendment and anti cancel culture and I have found some of his recent work to be the best around on this subject. That's why I like the site because you can find opposing views or personalities, that you may find have excellent takes on a subject.

Clinton other than sticking a cigar in the wrong place had the economy doing very well. Only thing I didn’t like was he cut defense spending a bit too much if I remember correctly but I was young and first time voting Can’t remember much back then. I turned 18 in 2000 but if Clinton (the Bill variety) were running today I would vote for him in Nov. I can't stand many of Trumps antics but with left with the choice of him or Biden the choice for me is easy.

I don't worry about news sources. I listen to facts. It doesn't matter who reports them. Don't get caught up in that and know the difference between a news anchors opinion and a fact they are reporting and you are usually fine.
