Aruba used to have a nice happy hour.

great place to stay is Pelican Grand Beach Resort. Right on the beach and
between Lauderdale by The Sea and Ft. Lauderdale/Las Olas. Very close to both places.

Good place to stay in LBS is Beachside Village Resorts. LBS is loaded with bars and restaurants all walking distance.

Aruba is a cool restraint bar night for the older crowd and las olas is maybe a ten minute Uber away on good traffic. Beach place isn’t what it used to be but it’s still not bad. The whole area has amazing eating. If you like Italian be sure to go to casa de Angelo

Funky Buddha brewery is also about five minutes away and is a cool vibe

If you like sports bars bokampers on the water is about five minutes from you too

S3 on the beach is a cool place too in the evening when the sun is going down for small plates and good drinks.

Blondies has the best burgers and fries in town for $7 bucks, but sit outside and people watch. It's really a pool bar on the strip across from the beach. It's a little dirty but when it's full you don't notice it with the bikini bodies walking by. The food comes from the restaurant next door and not the bar hole!
