I'm in Las Vegas, and masks just became optional!!

Sorry Justice. Disney Universal Sea World all stopped requiring masks.
For outdoors, you are correct. But WDW and Universal still require masks for everything indoors, which of course means that both places require masks on rides and while in line for the rides.

It does both those things quite well.

Well... the really smart and non-biased people at the CDC say that you can still contract Covid and spread it after you get the vaccinations... which is very strange to me why they are pushing so hard for everyone to get vaccinated with medication that neither cures nor can fully prevent someone from contracting a virus.

So... since the CDC is really smart and never embellish or give false or misleading information... shouldn't I take their information and guidance as gospel and just opt out of getting a vaccine that may or may not actually prevent me from getting sick, BUT may or may not actually cause me to grow a 3rd nut or have magnets stick to my arm at the vaccination spot?

I'm kind of confused... and I'm just an ignorant Republican so I guess I'll just go with my gut instincts and say, thanks but no thanks.

Get it or don’t get it, that’s your absolute right. But your “facts” simply aren’t accurate. The numbers prove that the vaccine overwhelmingly prevents you from getting covid. Of course, nothing is fool proof, but still. I haven’t seen the latest numbers but when there were about 90 million people vaccinated in this country, less than 9,000 of those people had gotten covid. So, do your own math. As for whether or not a vaccinated person can still pass covid to another person, I agree that it’s not totally clear, although the numbers seem to be indicating that, based on the reduced viral loads in vaccinated people, such people don’t pass it on, at least not as often. I guess the sum of my post is, you don’t have to listen to anyone tell you anything. Instead, you could just look at the actual numbers. Again, you do you and nobody should judge you for that, but be better than making up “facts.”

Sure, you still can contract Covid after vaccination. And you could probably still spread it. But you are far less likely to do either of those things and after hundreds of millions of doses administered, it appears very safe.

You are free to avoid taking it if you desire but your reasoning is wrong.

💯 Operation Warp Speed was a big success of the Trump administration. As president, Trump had the best medical advisors in the world and chose to get vaccinated. Dr. Rand Paul, Sen. Cruz, and Gov. DeSantis are not “Clown Show Joe” nor his shills, yet all chose to get vaccinated. It was Kamala Harris and Gov Cuomo who said that they wouldn’t trust a vaccine from the Trump administration. I don’t understand why the Maga people weren’t the first in line to get vaccinated. I support peoples’ right to make their own choice, but I hate to see them fall for fear mongering, anti-Trump propaganda.
Operation Warspeed ended on December 14, 2020 when the first vaccines were ready to be distributed but because Trump had no plan in place to distribute the vaccine on a massive scale it took Biden and Harris to complete the process...Which they did...Trump did the first part but Biden/Harris did the most important part which was to get the vaccine into arms of Americans..

The most important part was getting the vaccine developed, approved, and manufactured in large scale. With no vaccine to distribute Biden would still be in his basement sleeping.

2 months after taking
the masks off, Texas
reports zero COVID deaths.
The fear porn has been
long over for the
majority of us
wtf are you talking about? their 7 day average today is 43. they had 65 deaths on may 14.

they haven't had zero deaths in a day since march of 2020.

but because they reported zero deaths today that means that there were none? lol.

i track FL cases all the time since i live here. just cause they show 1 number that day, it doesn't mean that number won't go up for that day.

you must be another that think masks don't do anything. spit into a shirt then spit into the open air. see which one travels further. you're another person that isn't too bright.

FINALLY life is returning to normal If you are vaccinated, you are safe. If you choose not to vaccinate, you are willing to accept that risk, and no judgement there it's your choice. VEGAS IS NOW OPEN!!! I sat in a sportsbook tonight betting on Preakness with NO MASK!!! Gambled at craps and blackjack with no mask and no social distancing. Can absolutely say that we will have a NORMAL football season with NORMAL tailgating and full stadiums!!!!
Praise Jesus, we're safe!

Many reasons not to. Some of us don’t want to be lab rats. No need to get it if you’re a healthy human. Stop buying into the Clown Show Joe propaganda.
Sorry but you are so wrong it's not worth debating with you. Hope you don't get ill. There is no legitimate reason not to get vaccinated

2 masks and goggles are stupid. i laugh at the people that drive alone with a mask on.

my point still stands. masks do limit germs. is it 100%? no. almost nothing when it comes to germs and viruses is 100%.

at the beginning of this whole thing back in 2020 i thought it would be no big deal. i thought the virus would just move along and wouldn't last too long. i was wrong.

i don't mask at work. i work construction and have been in contact with lots of people. some of those did come down with the virus and some got very sick. i've been lucky to not get the virus. my stepdaughter was in the hospital for 3 nights yet her little sister who she shares a room with didn't get it. me and my wife didn't get it.

I agree... everyone SHOULD have the freedom to choose how they wish to live their lives. Get vaccinated, or not. Should be our choice as free Americans.

But nowhere in my post did I even type the word "facts"... because it is clear and apparent that facts are only based on individual beliefs these days, especially when it comes to this virus.

If you believe the current agenda that has been pushed for the past 14 months... then you believe that Covid has killed millions upon millions of people world wide. You believe the facts that are reported that support that belief and that's absolutely fine. Some, however, do not believe the "facts" which have been reported and believe other "facts" which contradict the "popular" opinion because they have been presented by people who do not work for ABC, NBC, CBS or CNN.

Its really a shame, because facts used to be the absolute truth that we, as people, could rely upon to make decision that impact our lives. Now... thanks almost entirely to the liberal agenda which is pushed by the liberal media... we are fed only facts that serve that specific agenda.

The statement above absolutely 100% proves my point... as I cannot expect everyone to believe as I do. So you may challenge my "facts" based on your beliefs, and I may challenge your "facts" in return, which is fine... as Americans we are supposed to have the freedom to choose what we believe, how we wish to live our lives, raise our families and pursue life, liberty and happiness. Unfortunately... I believe that those liberties will be taken away from those who do not believe or support a specific agenda very soon. Biden and the CDC have stated that anyone who has been vaccinated can go outside without a mask on. Which indirectly discriminates against those who do not believe in those "facts" and infringes on their civil rights and liberties.

Nothing is said about that, however. Because it does fit the narrative.

Call me crazy. 🤷‍♂️

This isnt hand passed 'hors d'oeuvres' at a cocktail party. This is some kind of foreign, chemical concoction that is being injected into my healthy, young body.

So... my reasons for choosing not to be vaccinated is wrong, based on exactly... what?

If it doesnt prevent me from getting sick, nor prevent me from spreading the disease, I ask you... in the immortal words of another smart, non-biased and never misleading Democrat, Hillary Clinton...

You lost all credibility in your post when you chose not to include FOX News on your list of media companies who make crap up and don’t tell the truth. I agree with you about the news media you listed. I think they are all garbage. But when you chose not to include FOX on your list, you revealed your biased agenda.

Oh goodness... forgive me for not including Fox news in that mess of an industry as well. All of them are the same damn thing anyway... as you stated. Lump them all in together at a notch just below Personal Injury attorneys and Insurance carriers.

So... now that I've included Fox news into the fray... do you have any other meaningful thoughts on the subject or did you just want to call me out for not including Fox news? Aside from my glaring omission, does the rest of my logic make sense now? Or have I still lost all credibility?

Amazing. Poignant and logical conclusions and discussions can be written off as total garbage and un-credible, simply for omitting a f#cking news network.

As if my entire line of thinking is inadmissible or worthless just because someone feels that because I didn't list one certain thing or another... I must be am idiot that doesn't share a similar line of thinking. Once again... proving my point from above that one set of thinking is not the only barometer of actual "facts".

What has this once great country become?

Wait a minute. Are you seriously claiming that you just innocently and mistakenly left Fox News off that list? You go on and on in a lengthy post bashing everything liberal, including the media, yet you don’t include the most conservative news source out there on your list. And now you are with a straight face trying to act as if it was a simple oversight on your part? Yeah, sorry, you have zero credibility.

As for your question as to what has this great country become, it has become a country where nobody admits that they are wrong or accepts any accountability for being wrong. Just like you just did, when instead of just admitting that you intentionally left Fox News off of your list because they are not liberal, you instead ridiculously try to now pretend that it was just an innocent mistake on your.

I didnt read a single letter past your second sentence and have deemed you as unworthy of any kind of rational thought or conversation simply based on the fact that you've questioned my questions about the questions.

See how silly that sounds? Probably not.

If I intentionally left Fox news off the list or not IS NOT THE GODDAMN POINT. Of everything I've posted in my lengthy posts (thanks for reading the whole thing by the way)... you key in one 1 teeny tiny little thing. Completely and totally disregard the rest of the thoughts, points or "facts" that I shared because you believe that I intentionally left Fox news off the list. The original point of the discussion has now been completely and totally lost because we are now discussing whether or not an omission is grounds for discredit.

This. Is. The. Problem.

People arent listening for the sake of learning or knowledge or discussion. They're only listening in hopes of finding that one teeny tiny little thing they can pull out of the discussion and then deem the entire thought baseless and un-credible, despite the topic. I could have discussed whether a garbage can smells worse than a garbage bag and you'd still manage to try and find that teeny weenie itty bitty thing to try and discredit my thought... because... YOU say so??

Yeah... seems like the credibility issue in question, may need to be questioned by the questioner.

How about the rest of my thoughts? How about any other point that I brought up? Are all of those worthless at this point now... since I forgot to mention a hack news network that falls in the same category as the rest? Should I include OAN as well? TMZ? Politico? This Week Tonight with John Oliver?

We agree that they are all about the same thing. Why did it have to derail the entire discussion??

I actually think that a lot of your points are pretty spot on. But I also know that you blamed everything on “liberals” and “the liberal media” even though “the conservative media” (which you conveniently left out) is every bit as pathetic as any other media and is just as much to blame.

Also, if you think that all the vaccine and infection numbers put out by the CDC are fabricated, that’s certainly your right, but I would suggest that you make sure that tin foil hat that you’re wearing stays on nice and tight. Oh, and lock your doors because I think the government is coming for you! LOL!

There we go!! Look at that! Some discussion about the topic at hand and even some humor to boot! We back!

Again... we agree on ALL media at this point. Conservatives go so far to one side in order to counter act how far left the liberals have gone that there is no middle ground AT ALL. Which is why I turn all of it off. I'd rather be uninformed than misinformed... and if something important happens somewhere, I get an alert from someone, somewhere anyway... so who needs the news outlets nowadays anyhow. I have a brain, so I can look at what is going on and figure a few things out on my own without being spoon fed my thoughts.

I don't get down with the tin foil hat thing... but can find the humor in the thought. Its pretty funny, but again goes to discount or discredit people who think "against the grain" of the agenda.

I absolutely 100% disagree with the statistics the CDC have given. The numbers just don't add up. If you look at the number of fatalities in 2020 and so far in 2021... deaths caused by flu, natural causes and other viral infections have all but been eradicated. Meanwhile... the historical numbers of those deaths in prior years come startlingly close to the number of Covid fatalities they are reporting. Some might find that coincidence... but find that as opportunistic. Being an entrepreneur and finance guy, I tend to watch where the money goes.

Thanks largely to the numbers that have been reported by the CDC... which have scared the general public to a frenzy... Big Pharma stands to pocket over $18 BILLION in profits (conservative figures so far) from administering the Covid vaccine. This number will compound YEARLY... as Covid is a virus for which there is no cure. As with the flu... there is no money in a cure.

So... the government is coming for me, but I've got my tin foil hat on so I should be good. Combine that with the fact that I am unvaccinated and do not plan on being vaccinated... I think there is a good chance I can slip off the grid and live out my days as a Neanderthal Conservative out in the woods like Jeremiah Johnson.

But thanks for engaging in a discussion about something.

It isn’t guaranteed to stop you from getting sick, but drastically reduce the likelihood and severity.

do you wear a seatbelt? You could still die in a car accident so why bother right? Hundreds of millions of people have been injected with the vaccine. And they’ve been injecting people since trials started in early 2020 so I’m not sure why you think it’s only been going on for 2 months. Compare severe reactions to that to severe Covid cases in your age group. If your risk of the former is higher than the latter you’re making a sound decision (hint, it’s not).
