Every legitimate weakness has been corrected IF they allocate reasonable $$ to the next regime, and every structural strength continues to be just as strong....with some added in the current environment. Simplistically, you need to have a place where you want to live/work/play and a place you can win big if done right:

FACTS
  1. Miami is a destination town with a ton of economic and demographic tailwind for the foreseeable future
  2. A massive amount of wealth has been created which means the pockets of our board and some alumni are much deeper than ever before
  3. No one wants to admit it, but they have poured a bunch of money into the program (direct and indirect) the past 10 years
    1. IPF
    2. Dorms
    3. UHealth
    4. Schwartz
    5. Training Tables
    6. More to come (locker room, upgraded dining and other facilities...see fundraise below)
  4. Despite our best attempts to prove otherwise, Miami sits in a winnable division within a winnable conference, ie path to playoffs is frequent clear
  5. We just dropped the largest (by 5x) athletic fundraise in the history of the school ($250m), and my bet is they achieve it if they show they are serious about winning
What's left? Allocating probably an extra $10m per year to staff and other related items (recruiting, buyouts) to get us back in the mix. Totally doable, and as Gary as been quite accurate saying, it is just a matter of the will to do it. And for the coach that gets it right, you can be a different sort of savior/god, not the big fish in a small college town, but a much more relevant star.....think Pat Riley vs. Nick Saban.
