I don't understand why so many of here are losing their sh*t because JT left the team. Relax everyone he really wasn't all that. In 2 full seasons at Miami he's had a total of 930 receiving yards and a total of just ONE punt return for a TD (which was last game). I understand he had significant potential but by all accounts he has major character issues and was becoming a major distraction to the team. Remember not so long ago in the FIU game when he returned a punt for a TD that was called back and then he never came back into the game because of 'dehydration'. Does anyone on here really believe that was the reason. Do you guys really believe the guy was so dehydrated that early in the game that he couldn't continue ? Have you ever heard of any other player leaving a game early and not returning because of dehydration. He straight up gave up on the team cause he was probably pissed the TD was called back. You think the coaching staff truly believed he couldn't continue ? I'm not one to talk sh*t about our players but he's no longer a Miami player and I for one am glad he's no longer on the team

Sheldrick Redwine said it best "We come out and work hard every day. We try not to slack because we know those guys are looking up to us. It's not about us, it's about the program. If we came out and slacked off and let them slack, the future will be slackers. We come out and work hard just so they see us to just keep the tradition going, really." Jeff Thomas was not one of those guys that was going to keep the tradition going at Miami. He was a cancer thats unfortunately spreading within the WR room. Hopefully him leaving will be a step in the right direction
