if they want to compete with the big boys of college football. There has been talk on the board about facilities and where we stack up. Although we have definitely made strides in recent years, we are still not sniffing the top 25 per a respectable site's rankings. The good news is FSU isn't in the top 25 either  ... UF comes in at #21 in the rankings, but more of importance to us right now, guess who comes in at #2? The Oregon Ducks... As discussed ad nauseum by folks on this board, the University of Miami is going to have to invest big $$$$ in the facilities, new coaching staff, nutrition and strength training program, etc. if it wants to get back to "elite status". Before anyone jumps in and says "but we have won 5 championships with subpar facilities...", it is a whole different world right now and recruits want the best of everything. Sure, we can still pull in good talent, but if we want to compete with the Bamas (#3), OSUs (#6), OUs (#10), and Clemsons (#1) of the world, we have to invest... The time is now.
