Alabama beats Auburn (#6) and Georgia (#7) and Wisconsin loses to OSU in conference championship game. This is a highly likely scenario. Auburn would have 3 losses. Out. Georgia would have 2 losses, including a bad one to a 3 loss Auburn. Out. Wisconsin doesn't have the strength of schedule to make it with 1 loss. Out. Miami would also have 1 loss, but to the #2 Clemson Tigers who only have 1 loss because of the loss of their QB. Lose a close one (7 points or less) and above scenarios play out, I think we should be in.
Wildcard could be Georgia beating Alabama, but then committee should look at common opponent, right?
Just my 2 cents when everyone on TV says we are out if we lose. It is unfortunate that VTech and Gtech couldn't finish stronger and help our case.
