Not as simple as that. We are not at war with "terrorists" .. we are at war with Radical Islamic Muslim Terrorists .. who want to do everything possible to destroy America .. which is seen as a powerful country with history of very strong "Judeo-Christian" core values. Liberty is a foundation belief. The view of "liberty" that we enjoy in the USA is something that is viewed with horror by the radical theocratic Islamic Muslims who want to impose strict Sharia virtually worldwide. They are totally opposed to "liberty" as enjoyed by the common US citizen. And they have the goal of destroying this country and removing those freedoms. Fact .. Islamic Muslim terrorists are targeting "Western Culture" in general, and very strongly the USA. It's not a con job by any politician. It's a simple reality that has to be dealt with.

This country has a long history based on the constitution. The constitution is very clear. It protects Muslims and not every Muslim is a Radical Islamic Terrorist. That is a fact. So, yes it is a huge con job. It would be like saying well, every time in our history there is a racist, he is white. So, let's assume all white people are racist. There is no difference here. You need to look at terrorism in a different prism then you view religion. They are different altogether. Being a terrorist is not the same as being a Muslim. Every muslim does not want to do harm to this country or change its values.
In fact they are the reason this is the greatest country on earth. They fight for this country just like any white Christian has and there is proof to this fact.
