Democrat Darling AOC Slammed As “Financially Illiterate.”

If you have heard her speak her ideas and think she is still smart then there is no help for you. I have known many college graduates that have no clue how the real world works. Looks like by the state of things in Chicago that your pal Obama did a great job of organizing things there. Do you think they'll ever recover from the apparently disastrous job that Obama did there?
Obama is one person. He wasn't going to "fix" Chicago all by himself in a short time. The notion is silly. However he gave a lot of tenants great pro bono representation I am sure they appreciate. Just like all kids he still helps to this day with his my brothers keeper program. Just because you are completely unaware of such success stories....that doesn't mean they don't exist.

I have heard her speak. She is an excellent speaker. Disagreeing with someone doesn't mean they can't speak. That's silly also. There are several viral videos of her making Republicans look like fools so save this stuff for a Republican....fixated on your narratives.

My favorite is where she obliterated Wilbur Ross...and caught Republicans trying to add census questions without congressional approval as previously mandated. That was a thing of beauty. There are so many more...and far from uninformed. She is as sharp as they come. This isn't Sarah Palin lmao.

I am laughing hysterically at the nonsense you post here daily as well. Fun isn't it?
Just shows what a f&ckin clown cdfraud is. You call him out for posting wrong information and this is his response. What an attention seeking baby killer.

Well first off I am not a Republican so you're wrong as usual. This is not about parties for me. Being able to speak does not make you sharp as evidenced by AOC running Amazon and 25,000 jobs for her constituents out of town. I'm guessing she must have learned that from her economic degree from such a prestigious university. She thinks and talks just like my daughter did when she was 5 years old before she learned the ways of the world and that the world is not all unicorns and leprechauns. Tell us again how we are going to pay to take down every building in America and replace them all with energy efficient buildings within the next ten years. LMFAO.

Right, she isn't Sarah Palin. She has no real world or political experience, other than tending bar. Instead of challenging her ridiculous claims, her colleagues and the press have become her lap dogs. Great speaker...zero content.

Yep, much like Obama, who was a great speaker but very little substance behind it. The community organizer whose community he organized, Chicago, is the most disorganized city in America. Since the start of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars there have been more people killed in Chicago by guns than in both of those wars combined. Wonder what he was really doing when he said he was organizing that city to become the cesspool that it is today. Then he became President and divided the country more in 8 years than had ever been done before.

Ummm, no but it does get you a job as the youngest congresswomen ever in a historicly republican district if you also major in international relations as a double major. She graduated with honors too. Having a degree doesn't guarentee you a job...and no debt. My fkn God the depth of the ignorance of you people is nothing short of staggering. She wanted to tend bar and loved the job. It's an honorable job she wanted to take.

I think speaking of ignorance this is not unusual for any meaningful job. You interview for it don't you? You complete all requirements do you not? You are selling yourself in any job you take. So to put it mildly do you know WTF you are even talking about?

Where did I say getting elected makes her smart? Trumpito got elected and he can't read. Graduating with a double major with honors from a world renown school makes you smart though.

She is a Democrat. That doesn't make her a stooge to anyone but a Republican. Clearly she is as sharp as they come as her education is evidence of this. A veteran democrat. Democrats don't give a shit about that stuff. She was an elected official. Take a look around at who got seats. Russians didn't interfere. She didn't need electoral votes. The people voted her in office based on her campaign. She didn't have anyone in her campaign indicted. She ran on her issues and that is what the people in her district want.

Again, she did what she wanted to do. What is it you don't understand? Her excellent academic degree and achievements completing it says she is smart. Seems simple to me. That's like saying Obama had no offers so he went and organized a community in Chicago for less than $12.00 an hour with a Harvard Law degree. Why is it that some of you people try to engage where you are completely lost. Everyone isn't greedy. Everyone isn't driven by money and offers. Some people do what they get the greatest gratification doing. That isn't the highest paid position in YOUR eyes necessarily. Work in government is for the selfless. Not the opportunist. Which is why I seriously doubt I will ever vote for a republican again. They want to run something the don't think should exist.....or should be much less of. It is not smart. I like smart.

Donald Trump has no real world political experience either. What exactly is your point? Oh, and shitty speaker and zero content but a whole lot of lies to the American people. Over 9,000 and counting.

First of all to me it doesn't matter what your party is either. I find your opinions the same as I do that of the Republican party. I honestly see no difference. Nor have you explained one.

Secondly, not everyone wanted Amazon there and the jobs aren't worth what they were asking for in return. Again, sharp as a tack because they get a lot of companies to come to that district. Jobs hasn't been an issue and the fact is all those jobs from companies currently going are all not willing to rape the community by not paying taxes. Good for her. Let them go elsewhere. She isn't one to be bullied by greed and money. Her constituents are fine with jobs there. Look it up.

The rest I have no comment on. If you can't figure it out for yourself.

Are these some of the lies?

Trump:
1. Redid NAFTA
2. Has ISIS on the run.
3. The economy is soaring.
4. Cut taxes. My tax bill was cut by 56% this year.
5. Unemployment lowest in decades, especially for minorities.
6. N. Korea nuclear negotiations.
7. China trade negotiations.
8. NATO now being properly funded by other members.
9. Stock market is extraordinary.

Following is the lie of the decade!!

Obama:
"You get to keep your doctor!!"

My brothers keeper, his brother lives in a mud hut in Africa. Now there’s a guy who takes care of his own brother

She's remarkably solid for a 29 year old freshman member of congress.
Stole money from her fellow employees and now she is all’s hero like Breezy was . Incredible great judgement by Dems as usual just because she preaches hate , racism and socialism.

She reminds me of kelly bundy trying to sound smart. “I believe that to stop the starvation issues accross Africa people need to chew their food slower so that their food can last longer”. God I loved that show. It’s like we get a little bit of the bundies every time we hear AOC.

Bud bundy “you can’t be this dumb”
Kelly bundy “it’s the 90’s, I can be what ever I want to be”

My opinion is the same with them on AOC that she is childlike in her opinions and not too bright. Not much different than I felt about Sarah Palin or Dan Quayle. You don't see a difference? Yeah, not everyone wanted Amazon, but the majority of the community did want it and it's just silly to think otherwise. You say that jobs aren't an issue while saying that these other companies are going to come in with jobs that won't rape the community. Apparently jobs are an issue or these other companies wouldn't be coming in to offer them. I guess I'm not quite as smart as you as I have yet to figure out how we're going to be able to pay for every building in America to be torn down and replaced within 10 years so would you be nice enough to explain it to me in a way that this dum dum can understand it?

Your logic is jobs are an issue because companies that hire go to this district. Please think about this logic. Because it is very flawed. They DO NOT need Amazon. This much is abundantly clear. Look it up if you don't believe me. It is very easy to research.

Yeah, what community needs 25,000 jobs? It is also very easy to research that the vast majority wanted Amazon there. Still can't answer if the world will end in 12 years or where the money will come from to pay to tear down every building in America and replace it in the next 10 years?

I stay away from bullshit hypotheticals. That's not government. That's fear. Her district elected her because of her campaign and will elect her again. It's amazing that people like yourself just play make believe with what those jobs cost. It woul be a horrible precident. She did the right thing. Go elsewhere. Lots of forward thinking with these initialed people: AOC, CD. More jobs, screw that, we don't need no stinkin' jobs. we don't need no one buildin' 25,000 new homes for $7.5bil. We don't need no one spending that $1bil payroll in our stores. We don't need no Amazon (or any other big lady) spending $250mil with local suppliers and another $250mil on energy. Hey man, we New York, we an AOC gonna get it done.

Soon we'll be getting AOC's list of employers that will fill the Amazon void. Don't hold your breath.

They think every idea they have is free and every idea everyone else has cost money. That cracks me up to be honest.. Unfortunately, the top financial guy for the state of New York came out and showed how much profit would have come from the deal in the long run and he was not happy about what happened. Funny that the economic genius, AOC, couldn't figure out how to add numbers for some reason. Talking about how foolish the GND is in the real world is part of talking about her stupidity because this is one of her platforms. She has stated that the world will end in 12 years if this plan isn't implemented immediately, so again, stupid is as stupid does.

That's exactly what's wrong with this country. Profit for whom? They can already get $10.00 or whatever an hour jobs There.

That's the funny thing about it. Republicans think people should be thankful for a damn $10.00 an hour job. It's silly. That's not worth huge tax breaks.

The finance guy for the state said it would be a 9 to 1 investment for the city even with the incentives. In other words it goes into the city's budget. That means the whole city and it is what is used to pay for social programs to help the poor. You do like to help the poor right?

Thanks for the laugh but I guess her economics degree suggest they would make more from...say......businesses that actually paid their damn taxes ...I guess....lmao

Yes, I'm sure they will get a 9 to 1 return on those businesses that you say may come one day. There is something to be said for a bird in the hand that will pay 9 to 1 ROI compared to some birds that may or may not even be in the bush. When facts are presented, there really is no reason for you to guess.

According to the state, Amazon will generate $27.5 billion in state and city revenue over 25 years, a 9:1 ratio of revenue to subsidies—an arrangement Cuomo called “the highest rate of return for an economic incentive program the state has ever offered.” This is predicated on the assumption that after the company begins hiring in 2019, Amazon will create 25,000 jobs over the next decade (with up to 40,000 when all is said and done), with an average salary of $150,000. The state estimates the project will facilitate 1,300 construction jobs and 107,000 in total direct and indirect jobs.

Makes no sense
...again. They aren't starving for jobs there. That is the bird in the hand. Not hard to understand and I didn't graduate with high honors with an economics degree. That's common sense coupled with people that don't actually live in the district all of a sudden taking an interest. Why? WTF do you care? You don't even live there. It's about attacking her. That's all..but the funny thing is she is right. She knows what is good for her district.

What doesn't make sense is when you say they are not starving for jobs but then you brag about how AOC is going to bring in jobs to replace the jobs that Amazon would have brought in at a 9 to 1 ROI. Why would she be replacing those jobs if they're not needed? I think I'm getting dizzy from how you talk in circles. Common sense says that 25,000 jobs helps any community especially when it comes to bringing in tax monies to help those that are less fortunate. WTF do I care? I am an American that pays taxes and I am always concerned when cities do things to turn away local tax money at such a high ROI that will end up making the rest of the Country pay for their social programs when they can no longer pay their bills do to their mismanagement. You keep saying that AOC knows what is best for her district yet the vast majority in her district were in favor of them coming. Not sure why you disregard facts so much while embracing opinions so highly.

The one-time cost to NY was to be $1.2bil in tax credits and a $500mil building grant, that’s $1.7bil. Measure these costs against the economic boost of over $6bil (and growing) entering the ‘local’ economy each year.
Thanks AOC no need to concern yourself about that, you’re being very well compensated…for daydreams.
Oh, and by the way, this Amazon thing would not have been instead of those other 25,000 jobs you mentioned, it’s in addition to!! More jobs, would have raised the average wage in AOC’s 14th Congressional District, guaranteed. She’s represents the Bronx, not Manhattan, not Westchester, not the Island, the Bronx, poorest borough in the City.
Also, her degree is from Boston University, this is not a top school… and no graduate degree here either.
Give her full credit, she not only fooled her constituency, she’s got the Democrats hanging on her every word.

The 'low' jobs would have paid $15 per hour. Many other positions with Amazon would have paid more, a good many, much more. How many people in AOC's district don't make that $15, hundreds of thousands.

Do you know her district? A $15.00 an hour job there is $7.50 an hour every place else. This is New York. Go look up the cost of living in New York. These jobs there are meaningless. You can't live off them in New York.
